Victoria has recorded 47 cases of H5 bird flu, with the latest detections in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs including Yambuc, Apollo Bay and Clyde. The state government has introduced a mandatory housing order requiring farms with more than 50 birds to house their poultry indoors as a precautionary biosecurity measure.
