Victory in Nature
from Daily Picture Hosted by Stephanie Hawkins
Today I saw a green V embedded in beautiful foliage, bringing to mind the ultimate victory we have in God through nature. The perfect natural beauty of the Garden of Eden was marred after Adam and Eve sinned but within all the death and decay springs hope with the new life, such as decomposed plants for fertiliser and reproduction springing from dried seeds. God wants us to look at His handiwork and love through nature despite fallen mankind. "For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, His eternal power, His divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that people are without excuse" (Romans 1:20). Let us learn to be quiet and still, whilst appreciating our awesome nature, drawing us to the Divine, His existence and His love.
