If your a forward you can have the element of surprise if you go ahead and use your defense. Make sure you have a proper passing lane to the tape on the defenseman's stick, and make eye contact to be sure the defenseman is ready for your pass. Then keep the puck on the ice and give the defenseman a quick pass. The defenseman can often sneek in deeper into the zone and fire. If your a winger in your defensive zone, you want to get there before the puck does or before the shot get s fired. Enjoy the action at an Arena near You !!!
