QGIS-Server-Light isoliert den Rendering Prozess in eine schlanke Python-Runtime die als worker eine Queue abarbeitet. So wird das Debugging zur Laufzeit zum Kinderspiel. Verpackt in einem Container hat ein solcher laufender Worker einen Memory-Footprint von ca. 170MB. Dadurch können viele parallele Worker bereitgestellt werden die unabhängig voneinander arbeiten. QGIS-Server-Light startet in unter 1s. So ist sichergestellt, dass im Falle eines Crashes in sehr kurzer Zeit ein neuer Worker zur Verfügung steht. QGIS-Server-Light wird komplett über die Queue konfiguriert. Das macht ihn zum perfekten Bestandteil in skalierbaren Cloud-Umgebungen.
