View From The Stoop- DJ Votes (Jay Claxton & Casay Vaughn

Welcome back, family! This year is an important one in our communities and in this country.  With a very important election coming up we wanted to introduce two new family members who are doing their part to make sure everyone has the knowledge and ability to participate in the upcoming elections.  Jay Claxton & Casay Vaughn, PhD are two DJ’s that are using their platform to help inform the community about the importance of getting out the vote.  They’ve created an organization called DJ’s Vote, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to uplifting the community through education and activation.  They stopped by the Brownstone to share with us their journey and explain how important it is to exercise your right to vote.
