Next is Elon Musk’s $44 Billion purchase of Twitter, and the Blerds debate whether or not the blue check is worth the $8. The conversation moves to James Gunn’s new position as Co-CEO of Warner Brothers Discovery’s DC Studios, with heavy emphasis on Gunn’s plans for the DCEU outside of his Suicide Squad and Peacemaker projects. Phoop and Ryun end the episode with a deep dive into the value of the animation industry, stemming from Disney CEO Bob Chapek’s comment about animation not being for adults.
