The treat and the Trauma of Motherhood. You constantly gravitate to get acknowledgement during the child’s hormonal years and that’s pretty daunting for many. You glow in your child’s praise of you and also your sense of self many times comes from this space. Most often they are dealing with their growing pangs and the easy target is the mother. It’s a seesaw of feelings.After the children have grown up, you slowly start becoming your own person.
