Vikings SHOCK the NFL: Caleb Banks at #18?! Foot Injury or Flores Steal? | The Real Forno Show🎙️🏈

Real Forno Show: Breaking Down the Vikings’ Caleb Banks Pick and a Day Two Mock Draft — Tyler Forness and Producer Dave discuss the Minnesota Vikings’ first-round selection of Caleb Banks, noting split fan reactions, Banks’ lower consensus ranking (37th) largely due to foot injury concerns, and why the team viewed him as a high-upside “home run swing” and best player available. Forness cites reporting that teams in the 20s also wanted Banks, argues a trade down risked losing a “unicorn” defensive lineman, and emphasizes medical optimism from Dr. James Andrews’ office and other doctors, while acknowledging the pick could be criticized if the injury recurs. They compare Banks’ potential role to Richard Seymour and discuss fit in Brian Flores’ defense. The episode ends with an A to Z Sports mock draft simulation featuring trades and defensive-focused picks (including Treydan Stukes and Jake Golday) plus late-round depth and a Day Two livestream preview with an orthopedic foot surgeon guest. 00:00 Vikings Draft Shock 00:25 Show Intro Setup 03:12 Why Banks Fell 05:54 Injury Risk Breakdown 07:40 Home Run Swing Logic 09:55 Trade Down Debate 14:51 Scheme Fit Flores 17:22 Fan Reaction Split 24:53 Mock Draft Begins 26:45 Banks Injury Info Debate 27:23 Why Trading Down Fails 27:56 Mock Draft Setup 30:11 Board Check Trade Offers 31:50 Targeting Stukes Pick 36:19 Trade Up For Golday 37:54 Branch News And Fit 38:46 Barham And Corner Trade 43:11 Late Round Offense Adds 46:25 Mock Recap And Signoff _____________________________________________________________ ⭐️ Subscribe to us here! - https://www.youtube.com/@vikings1stskol92 ⭐️ Our Twitter can be found at @Vikings1stSKOL ⭐️ Our Discord at https://discord.com/invite/493z6mQXcN ⭐️ Tyler Forness can be read at A to Z Sports - https://atozsports.com/nfl/minnesota-vikings-news/ ⭐️ Submit questions: forms.gle/7LJkCAern9kdUkuD8 ⭐️ On Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/vikings1standskol ⭐️ Watch the live show here: https://youtu.be/OSx_74j3TuU Fan With Us!!!
