Welcome to another edition of Villanun underground. I don't know why I said addition, but we have five lovely freshly pressed newspapers here. We have the New York Times alley playing updraft My lips are stained with the blood of my enemies We've got the Chicago tribute played by Cody who is also playing like with on first edition pressed baby charizard We have the Boston bugle played by Phil also playing silicon artist. I was a paper boy when I was a kid It's pretty good route, you know did you make a lot of money? That was good for a kid I was like I was like love 12 years old, you know, hmm. Does anybody give you a fruit cake for the holiday times? Yeah, I get tip sometimes, you know most times I just give you a little extra cash, which I like the best Yeah, you want but and you can buy it you can buy as many fruit cakes as you want with that cash How how how is fruit cake a tip?
I feel like that's a punishment. No, it's delicious. Oh, Chuck full of fruit and cake I will say this I know that it's a meme that fruit cake is gross holiday treat, but I've never actually eaten it So I've no idea. I've actually had it.
You know, okay, I know a secret sure it ain't that bad Okay, yeah, it's just super dry all the ones that I've had have been super dry Yeah, about a nice rich cup of coffee with some cream and sugar, you know That's a little spicy cake with some dried fruits in there. You could do worse. It's a spicy cake kind of yeah It's not like it's not like jalapenos and jalapenos and jalapenos. Yeah, no buffalo wing flater and hollip.
Yeah, it's real seasonal tasting It ain't bad. You could do worse, you know a nice glass of brandy and a fruit cake is fine by me sure this is the quality content I'm 87 years old Break it down fruit cakes here on the podcast. Welcome to fruit cake cast I Say if you if you're just joining us we are a fake base podcast S. H.
U. Universe everything here on this video is canonical. This is a group of bad guys. I guess I guess we have to be determined at this point.
It seems like it's just a weird collection of bizarre humans Well, not even that. They have already been humans anymore. Yep. Yeah, we've run away from our problems with the runaways I wonder if that's a property that's already been established and Never heard that before in my life.
You didn't call it runaways. No, but not 10 movies and four bands ever Successful Marvel comic TV show That's never happened at all Would somebody like to let us know what happened on the last heart pounding episode of Aulon underground. It looks like alleys volunteering. Yeah, I did I listened to it today.
So I know what happened It wasn't a lot. Do you not normally listen is no, I definitely do I just listened today. Oh, okay. I see okay I was gonna get real upset.
No, I listen so we went on a road trip down Stop it some tourist traps like the 100 yard wide ball of yarn, which is insane also the 100 yard wide ball of aluminum foil Which is insane and then we somehow managed to not kill ourselves all the way over to lapis harbor where we parked and Greg whispered sweet. Nothing's in baby Greg's ears, which was really fucking creepy And then we decided the next morning to go forward in time except We reached the 88 miles per hour. We started going forward in time and then we got pulled over by the time police You ever have a moment where like you realize what's happening in your life. You're like, how did I get here?
Like listening to what I have spent a long time like planning and sitting and recording with my friends Then editing and then drawing a picture for and then putting on the internet. I'm like, how did what is happening? How did it come to this? Because it's fun.
Yeah, I probably should listen to the last episode because I wasn't there for like the last half of it Whoops, you were like time court. I'm like, oh, yeah, that's funny because we're no you literally mean time court. Okay, we're in time court. Whoops We got pulled over by Justin time.
Oh, that's it. That's also a kids tv show. Is it? Yeah.
Oh, well too bad We've already infringed the copyright where we're not doing it. Yeah. All right, so uh, you're all there. Um, Justin has given you a little bit of background into his family Oh, yes.
Was it mother dawn and brother Nick? Oh, that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that exactly that. Wait, his brother Nick is it just Nick time?
Nick of time. Oh, that was like a Nickelodeon spinoff or something. He just shoots go at us. Oh, we may want to avoid that.
We don't want goo shooting. Um, wait, so if that's his brother's is his dad Nick at night? Yeah, he's a native first father. It was a vampire also.
Uh, so yeah, you're all there and Justin's like, uh, yeah, you guys been uh, sipping through time and we need to uh, kind of bring you in to uh, you know, deal with that. Yeah, with it. How? What do you want us to do about it?
We did we need to go and see the arbiter of time and space and you know that kind of thing. That's a person entity. Are we being detained? Kinda.
All right. Well, do you have an exact reading of uh, you know, our violations? Well, there's not time law is a bit weird in the fact that it's just like, Hey, if you're fucking it up, you're breaking time law. Really like written rules or anything, but you don't write down how we're fucking it up.
It's like time you. I mean, we're really. Yeah, what are we? Are you telling me?
Yeah, it's a little bit like that. Yeah. Okay. Well, let's go see this guy.
But I guess we'll we'll try to figure it out. Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on. Where are lawyers? There's no look, there's no time lawyers.
Why do you why do you think a system invented by humans 200 years ago? Is the end all be all of the justice system time? Time doesn't give a shit about your legal system. You're calling it court.
So I'm just assuming I'm speaking in a language you can try to understand. I'm just trying to speak English because everyone here is speaking English. It's like, I guess it's the closest word to the thing arbitration. I guess time arbitrata.
I don't really need to argue the semantics of what, you know, time arbitrate tribunal, except it's one guy. I don't know what do you want to call it. Time what it actually is over. So yeah, yes, you guys are jumping around through time and we need to figure out if it's a good thing or bad thing or whatever, then you'll be, you know, dispatch of or given your sentence or whatever you choose.
I don't know. I don't know how it works. I'm just I'm just sent out. I do my thing.
Or you could just let us go if we say it's not our fault. It's really not. I bet you never heard that before. Right.
Just never probably just gonna let us go now. Oh, this isn't my time travel device. Excuse me. Can I cut in here?
Because like I just learned a few things like, you know, prohibition was a thing back in the day, but if you're like a time cop, things changed. So like maybe the rules changed. I'm just saying, I probably shouldn't have done a good thing now. So I was just like, okay, maybe laws don't actually exist.
Maybe they're just a construct of, you know, society. No, there's a lot of good I have to get back to doing. So if we could, you know, make this quick, that'd be good. Okay.
So now, yeah, so you have to following in for a little while. Eventually, you come like you almost don't experience a transition, but all of a sudden you're in like a hallway. There's lots of hallways like splitting off and you don't like you don't remember when you entered the hallway or when they became a hallway, but now you're there and you're walking down towards the end of the hallway. That's a neat trick.
Yeah. He gives you a thumbs up. So it sort of is like space. Kind of.
It's hard to time as time as hard to fathom. It's all right. You guys don't just don't worry about it. It's all right.
And then he leads you all the way to the end of the hallway. The end of the hallway opens up into like a very large room in the middle of the room. There is a being that looks like they might be like vaguely human shaped with a very tall silver hat and like a cloak and the cloak keeps billowing open and under another cloak billows open and under that another cloak billows open. It's like like a kaleidoscope of colors as the cloak billows open and vanishes behind them.
So it's kind of like this really trippy LSD looking thing. Those are cloaks eventually staff. No, it just seems to be like continuously just keep. Yeah.
Yeah. Like a little one. Yeah. So like one will below open and like flutter behind the entity and the kind of vanishes.
Another one opens up, but it's like it's continuous. So there's like 13 things opening at once. It just seems like it's endless. Wow.
I'm I'm I'm a little mesmerized by it. Yeah. I try to count. Actually, this is kind of making my eyes hurt from being honest.
Oh, I don't look at the ground for a little while. How many how many do I come before I realized that that's a futile attempt to make sense of it all. That is a question on your character's patients. How patients?
I snap out of this this mesmerized haze and the last number I remember getting to was like 87. Okay, you can't. It's a lot of folks. The entity kind of it doesn't really speak out of its mouth, even though you do see like a human jaw under the very large helmet.
Is it just one jaw? Yeah, there's just one jaw. It looks like whatever, whatever is going on with it. It did have a human face.
Okay. And it kind of speaks and it like echoes throughout the room and kind of just reads in your mind and it says welcome. Hi, could you could you make that stop? It's like kind of making me a little sick.
You can look away. Okay. I guess I'm going to. Keep looking at the ground.
You are currently the center of the omniverse. Cool. I guess. What do you want from us?
I'm here to let you know something about your timeline. Oh, okay. Which is an era of darkness is approaching your world. You will all play key roles in this era of darkness.
Bring me a stopping it. I don't know if it can be stopped, but you will all play a part in it. You pulled us over. Just say that.
I've pulled you over many times. I brought you here and haven't. You've chosen to return. You've chosen to say in every moment a million universes are created.
You can choose to return to your world. You can choose to return to your city or you can choose to say here and die. You've chosen before and you will choose again. Is there any of us here right now?
Can we talk? You can see the first that shows. I mean, more information, I guess. I just want to see how good looking I am right now.
You see a vision in front of you all of you kind of locked in a room, but it's mostly skeletons except for updraft who is in wind form, whooping around the room in madness because it's a blank white room that everyone's been locked in for millennia. Yikes. I can't see what's going on. What's happening?
Wait, is it? You don't want it. It's not pretty. You don't want to see it.
Those are some good bones. Like if I look up while I see the thing that's with the things without capes. Can you turn that off? Is there a light of the window?
A type of color coat over here? No, you won't. Okay. I look up at it.
This image is the closest I can come to being perceived by you. Can you just appear to us as nothing? It's like really making me. I'm going to throw up and keep looking.
I got sit down. I sit down. It's like a whole army verse spinning in here. Oh my God.
Just breathe. Just breathe. It'll be okay. What do you choose?
Well, I don't want that. And address is pointing at the room. Okay. What are the choices again?
You can stay here in the center of the omniverse and await your natural death or you can return to your world again. How is that even a choice? I don't. I want to go back.
Dara is going to be a darkness upon us in a real world. The beings you call gods are gearing up for war. The result of the war is an era of darkness. What was that part about you said we chose it before and then we never chose it and we choose them all but we don't choose any.
What was that part of the war? In every instance, every outcome of every choice all create separate universes like a snowflake ever expanding. That's not an exhausting. You've been here before and you'll be here again.
You've been here countless times to make a choice. Yes. Each time you've chosen many times. We've made a choice each time.
Yes. Okay. You've made both choices infinite times. I got a question.
So in all these multiple times did Jimmy choose? Can Jimmy choose for us? Jimmy has chosen an infinite amount of times. Oh, okay.
Well, shit. All right. Sorry, Jimmy. Every possible outcome you can think of has happened a million times except for the one outcome that we do though.
Right? No, that's happened before too. You're just choosing again. Oh, but that time hasn't happened yet.
You do an understand infinity. No. So what you're saying is it doesn't matter what choice we make. So I'm just gonna leave.
I'm just gonna go back to the RV and we're just gonna zip on out of here. You're choosing to go back to your world? Yeah. Your time device is going to be confiscated.
Can we have like a reparations for it? Kind of like equal to equal trade? I mean, listen, I've got it fair and square from them, you know, maybe I'll tune up to the RV, you know. Listen, we pay a lot of money for that device.
So you should you should pay us back. You really want the RV back? You can have RV back. The devices is confiscated.
In a different timeline. Did you repay us for taking the time device? I only exist here. Well, how about in this timeline, you pay us for taking the device?
You're not currently in a timeline. Well, but you're gonna put us back in the timeline and we're gonna be out a device and poorer because we paid for the device definitely. I threw up for sure. How many times did he puke on your phone?
Stop looking at it. I can't. It's like it's kind of trying to get over and it's starting to get nothing. Stop looking at it.
I can't. It's like it's kind of drawing. It's the only thing in the room. It looks like it's just like I can't look at nothing.
Who you found the repeat point? Yeah. Who you found the repeat point? Start getting faster.
So it's count, you know, but it's around 112. Just go back to blue. And there it goes over again. It's a good gift.
It'd be a nice repeat. Heck yeah. Alright, I gotta get out of here. Take me back.
I don't care. Just give me out of this room. I can't see the room. Spinning.
Get. I'm go. Go. Alright, so you're not in that room anymore.
You're in a large round room and Justin's there with you. Oh my God. It's a very, very large round room. There's archways all the way around it.
Like hundreds and hundreds of archways. And he's like, so you chose to go back to your time, right? Yeah. Wait, are we all in this room?
Yep. Okay. Yeah. I didn't really mean to speak for the whole group there.
I'm very sorry everyone. No, it's okay. You're sick. We understand.
I mean, I think we all kind of would like it. Let's go back to one time. Talk. Let's not die and go insane.
That sounds like a great idea. Yeah. I've heard you say the opposite. So it's fine.
But we're going to take you back to where you go from. Luckily, I'm familiar with your timeline to bend it before. Head on. Head on this way.
So you're saying you have heard me say, yes, let's all die and go insane. That sounds fun. Yeah. Well, no, not in those words.
Well, maybe in those words, you just think it's funny to watch and die. Or you happen or you had real nice up draft. Real nice. Hey, it's not that well.
Yeah, see, Megalodon gets it. Sure. I think. Oh, we have friends.
So do you have any questions about this place or am I just taking you back? What's the word? Tunnels lead to? Oh, so like right now, we're in the center of all reality, right?
And each of each of these tunnels is like a very distinct reality because like these ones are like very, very different. Whereas like it takes a little bit energy to jump from like one reality to another that's similar. So like back where you guys are from, you could jump to reality where like, hey, you have a beard and hey, you're blonde, right? Super easy to do.
Relatively speaking, but like these tunnels going very different directions. So like here, I'll show you come over here. See this hallway, ladies. Hey, check out.
There's a dragon man's desk having a giant demon with a bleeding sword. Don't go down that. That's not even close to where you go and look down this hall. There's a bunch of talking ponies casting magic.
Don't go down that. Not even close to where you're from. And you go over here. Hey, look, there's a dude making corn into a religion.
Don't go to that one. That was ridiculous. Not even close to where you're from. So we need to go down your tunnel, right?
And then go to your your specific timeline. It's like a snowflake is the best. The best now. You're right now.
We're in the very center. There's no flake in every direction is a very distinct timeline. So in all of these in all of these billions of iterations of this exact same sequence, have you ever let us down the wrong tunnel just for fun? You know, there was a time where I don't know if it's you specifically, but it's people from your direction did a weird crossover with Tony people.
You know, it's like, okay, let's say this tunnel is my tunnel to my time. Yes. The one like right next to it. Just similar to mine.
Like the further away I get. Yes. Okay. Yeah.
Can see. Hey, check out. Watch this. This is great.
All right. So in this one, this is your guys. It's on a break like halfway around this side. You guys are actually characters in a game where a bunch of people are on the internet talking about it.
Is there one where it's just like my timeline, but I'm just a little bit taller? Yeah, that's probably, you know what? That's probably down that tunnel on a branch path. Okay.
We're not going there though. No, I can't like I can't like that would be you. That'd be a different person. That's just a bit taller.
But it is me really just like a little bit taller. Yeah, but you wouldn't be inhabiting. Greg, do you wish you a little bit taller? Maybe a ball of some sort?
Yeah. Yeah. I went to four. Paul.
I wish you had a girl that looked good. What would you do if you probably get a recall? You know, what's going on? Yeah.
So I mean, I'll grab. I can't go down that one because I'm already there taller. Yeah. So you're saying that if I go there, it'll be two of me one my size right now and then one me a little taller.
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I want to hang out with a guy that's me but a little taller. Yeah, I can't go right.
Well, you know what? After I bring back your timeline, you find. Somebody who can jump timelines. Like I said, you're the only guy I know that can do it right here in this room.
Okay, but I've got a job to do. And the thing is, honestly, I'm telling you, it's not super hard to jump to very, very close differences. Okay. Jump to one where you're a bad guy or you jumped to one where you know, you might be a little bit taller or those are super easy jumps.
Like now you need some real powerful shit to like, if you wanted to jump over to the these pony people thing or like this weird place with dragon people like these are those are big jumps that need a lot of energy and coordination between a lot of people. I have a quick question. Which timeline am I the best in? That's the the goodest.
I'm not going to make a value judgment on you, bro. I mean, if you had to, well, how do you define best? I mean, the one where I'm admired for all the good deeds and good things I've done in the world. All right.
Can I let you in on a little bit of a little bit of tea? So we have the snowflake, right? I imagine it's a snowflake under that is a shadow that's identical but opposite. So like all of these millions of infinite possibilities.
There's all those possibilities but also the opposite. There was a guy named Silly Buddy who was your shadow and he was a really great dude. You know, so if you want to find Silly Buddy, he was a really great dude until like something kind of changed in it. So he's down below.
Yeah, he's in the shadow. Is there a way to get to the shadow? Oh, plenty. Yeah.
Can you take me there? You know, like you said, rules and regs, I can only take so many places and right now my job is to take you back to where you guys belong. I hold out a five dollar bill. You know what?
I can't do it, but I can point you in the direction of somebody who might be able to help. Quick question here for you, Mr. policeman. I'm not a policeman.
My name is Justin. All right. Sorry. I didn't just form up from at least.
You said take us back to the right time. Are you going to take me back to the 20s? Oh, yeah. No.
No. Oh, OK. I'm going where I belong. Infinity said that.
Yeah, you belong with these people in their time. Give me two. Oh, yeah. I guess.
Okay. If there's infinite timelines. We're all infinite possibilities and instances of me. I know it's exist, right?
OK, I get it. Yeah. I get it so far. Yeah.
And then there's also a shadow universe. Yeah. We're the opposite. But also infinite.
All those instances exist. Yes. Also, right. Yeah.
When you bring us here to make us choose to either go back or not go back. And then all these infinite realities that have happened in the past and will happen in the future and happen again and happen in infinitum, right? Yeah. What we choose don't choose each time every time.
Yeah. What does it matter if we choose now or not choose now? And how is this in any way? Answering for time crimes.
What are even the time crimes? If every possibility of everything exists always in time. What's the crime? Yeah, why'd you pull us over?
Right? What do we? What if I don't choose? Well, here's the deal.
So like everybody in all of these things is like a valuable commodity because even though it's infinite life is finite and we care to preserve as much life as possible. If you keep jumping back and forth of the same time stream, your entire branch of the snowflake might fall off and then everyone has just gone advantage and dead. And we also kind of care about your autonomy as people. So we're like, hey, we can't let them kill this entire branch of the snowflake.
Let's take away their time device and let them, hey, do you want to go back to your time? Can't let you keep jumping around the castles. Does that bother us? Does that make sense?
Okay. So the time crime is just jumping around in the timeline. Even though every possibility of everything ever always exists forever now and ever past jumping in a timeline doesn't exist or can't exist. You're not making much sense, bud.
We do what we can to mitigate the most of it. Look, yes, there's an instance where you don't get pulled over by time cops and you keep jumping around and kill everything. But how many instances of us not jumping around in the timeline? Infinite.
Right. But how many instances of it? Is it of us always jumping around timeline? Infinite.
So how is stopping us now? I'm going to solve anything. You know, I don't ask those kinds of questions. Well, apparently I do.
Yeah, I'm just I'm here. I answered to somebody. I've got my audio socket wrench trying to fix what I can. And just, you know, like, I'm just trying to fix things, you know, that's all.
All right. Well, is there enough room on that tunnel for my truck? Yes. Okay.
I will take your truck back. I'm gonna take everybody back. Is everybody okay now? Is everybody satisfied?
In Megaladon's RV. You can have RV back. We just have to take the alien device out of it. Time travel thing.
Thank you. Thank you. So come on. It's a problem.
I believe in everybody having equal rights to their property. What type of aliens have a time travel device and why is that not regulated? We just took it away from you. It's regulated.
I know. But how did they get it? They invented it like now. Oh, that's a little rude.
You can't call someone an asshole just reinventing something. I know I can get kind of testy. I mean, we invented this this sphere game that we're gonna sell. You can't call us assholes.
You reinvented long darts. You're thousands of years old, you know what long darts are. Stop playing stupid. Shut up.
Are you guys ready to go? Hey, I've been ready to go. We're not pointing there because you've been asking a lot of questions. What we all have been standing here.
I've just used me for trying to figure it all out. You know, I just was curious what was all about. I'll go down to them. But hey, guess what I'm gonna do?
Yeah, I'm gonna back the truck down. I bet you never chose that before. Did I? Did I?
No, first time back or down. Will it make you feel better? Fine. Okay.
Back or down. All right. You I'm really good. I'm backwards.
I got the reverse camera in the back there, you know. Yeah, you feel one that like shows you like what you're packing up. Oh, yeah, it's got the red line, the green line, you know, it tells you it worn and beeps. So, you know, yeah, the circle.
This truck will do it. All right. As you know, it even matters again, why not yet? Because we'll just spend right around them.
Winey parts here as you're approaching the tunnel that leads to the closest of your realities. You see some more like stuff happening in the other ones. Like there's one where a bunch of kids in the age of fighting birds and closer to that one. There's like a post-apocalyptic earth where people are vomiting fire on each other.
It's like not a big deal. And then you can start heading back. You can head back down your head back down your your tube. And then you get to a door.
And you're like, well, here you are. I'm going to take you right back, not to the moment you left, but the moment you would have been living had you stayed, that makes sense? Well, except for you, Meg, with them. Everybody is as older as they would be.
So you've been gone for a few weeks. Okay. Sure. Is there a way you can like, accept in my brain all the stuff that I probably should know if I'm going in the future like this?
I mean, Jimmy. Hey, Meg, Meg, don't sweat. I mean, as much as everything's different, it's all still pretty much the same, man. Just be yourself and you'll do fine.
Great. You're a beautiful human thing. You know that? Well, thanks, Meg.
Appreciate it. Counter-quite. There's actually a lot of things that are different. Wait, what?
Wait, what? No. And then in a flash. In a flash, you're all standing outside of the new Lapis, a city that has been rebuilt since you have left in like three weeks.
It has been a few months at very least. What? Yeah. Well, I, because you got since the flipping of the city has been a long time.
I guess, exactly. Yeah. True. Yeah.
And there's a lot of weird future tech happening. So now it looks like the future extremely tall, very shiny, windowy buildings. A lot of it's still kind of under construction, but the city is somewhat functional at this point. So there's a lot of big buildings.
Greg, you're very familiar with this because you're constructing it. Oh, heck yeah. Okay. First of all, I'll head over to the big tower.
Right? Yeah. I see if the big banner is fine still. Oh, yeah.
There's big banners everywhere. Across the steel, right? Yeah. At Van Count Co.
Yeah. Heck yeah. Yeah. So you're all standing outside of the city.
You see, at Van Co. L.T.D. banners hanging on a bunch of stuff and like the good portion of downtown is functional at the moment. It's big, futuristic.
There's like sky tubes and bullet trains and all sorts of shit getting built. Mignon starts his musical number. What's this? What's this?
There's bush tricks in her hair? What's this? What's this? There's greens everywhere.
Jimmy, look at the future. Look at the train. This line. There's like screens on the walls over here.
This is crazy. Look at that. Excuse me. That's what I was telling you.
It's different. It's everything. It's all still the same. It's just a train.
You know what a train is. It's just a train. This guy rolling on a pocket of magnets, man. It's still different.
You just ride the train, bud. What's you've never seen this and updrass going to touch one of the screens and make it do stuff? Get a hit and start playing Angry Birds. It's magic.
What I apologize to say to you, I'm the voice. You know, facing my mortality and even the probability really scares me. I don't like string theory very much. I kind of clamped up because, you know, I'm okay.
I'm okay. I'm real sorry. It's okay. This is why I'm here for you, Jimmy.
Okay. We just got to focus and keep moving forward. Okay. You talk about like mortality.
You won't die if you keep moving forward. Okay. I'm glad that we're back on the line of probability. That's just singular, you know.
A consequence. Antisidants. You know how it goes. I understand you, Jimmy.
I understand you. We're weirded out. I don't understand how you got a physics degree when you went to the community college. It's just, it's sometimes you do.
It wasn't until you have a physics degree. It was intro to physics degrees. I dropped out. I dropped out because I couldn't give my physical education credit.
I get weird, really easy. I got bad asthma. I told you it would have been great. I just dress up as you.
When in the gym showed him what's up, left. And we would have changed back. It would have been fun, Jimmy. I don't want to keep the education system boys.
A lot of people dedicate their lives to teaching. And I don't want to betray their trust. Listen, you know, the physical education system is not good. Okay.
