Villanova Fights Penn State in Four Sets | Villanova Wildcats Basketball News

Villanova volleyball dropped a hard-fought four-set battle to No. 9 Penn State, but showed undeniable grit against a powerhouse opponent. After a shaky first set, the Wildcats bounced back to win the second and nearly stole the third, pushing the Nittany Lions to their limit. Senior Abby Harrell led the charge with 13 kills, 6 digs, and 3 aces, while junior Campbell Mckinnon delivered clutch blocks that kept Villanova in the game. Despite falling short, this performance proves Villanova can compete with top-tier teams—and they’ll get another shot this weekend at the Villanova Classic, facing UMBC and Princeton.
