VIP Ignite: How an Aspiring Artist Overcame Her Intimidation in Tackling Shakespeare

"I feel like a lot of times, especially in our modern world, Shakespeare is kind of the elephant in the room that everyone knows is there, but no one really wants to acknowledge because it does seem unattainable at times."In this podcast, Deneen White talks to Staxx Coredo on her experience with joining the VIP Elite Academy. Staxx shares that she feels fantastic and has recently finished the MidSummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare. She shares how plays by Shakespeare are intimidating mainly due to their language, but having a major in English, she took up the challenge, and it took around 2 weeks to deliver the play. She reveals how she practiced her monologue, and how she was hobbling when she had to deliver it. Her monologue was well received, and she was presented with suggestions to make it better.
