Virginia Basketball: Portal Push for 2025-26 Season

Virginias Mens Basketball Team Prepares for Roster Rebuild Amid Key Player Departures The NCAA basketball transfer portal opens this Tuesday, and the University of Virginias mens hoops team is gearing up to rebuild their roster for the 2025-2026 season. The team has lost several key veterans, including guards Malik Thomas, Jacari White, and Dallin Hall, as well as forwards Devin Tillis and center Ugonna Onyenso. After a tough NCAA Tournament loss to Tennessee, players like Sam Lewis expressed interest in returning, while others weighed their options. Fast forward, and big man Thijs De Ridder has committed to return, joining Johann Grünloh and Chance Mallory in sticking around. This gives the Wahoos a solid core to build on. However, things look uncertain for Lewis, with no firm word yet on his plans. Meanwhile, coaches will be scouring the transfer portal for potential additions to fill the gaps left by the departures. Expect a flurry of activity as offers fly and names emerge, as Virginias portal push could make or break next years team. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
