Virginia was led by Thijs De Ridder with 19 points, while Sam Lewis and Jacari White also scored in double figures. The Cavaliers’ defense was especially impactful, recording 12 blocks as a team, including eight from Johann Grunloh. For NC State, Paul McNeil Jr. scored 22 points to lead the Wolfpack, with additional contributions from Darrion Williams and Ven-Allen Lubin, but the team struggled offensively, shooting under 30 percent from the field.
