Virginias Coach Ryan Odom celebrates first ACC home win with a dominant 84-60 victory over California. The Cavaliers, now 13-2 overall and 2-1 in ACC, outrebounded the Golden Bears 45-26, scored 34 points in the paint, and blocked 9 shots. Freshman Johann Grünloh and senior Ugonna Onyenso led the charge with 12 points each and 17 rebounds combined. Graduate guard Malik Thomas scored 20 points and delivered strong defense. Californias backcourt struggled in the second half, making only 7 field goals on 27 tries.
