Virtual Wine Tasting with JAHAN to Support Women for Women International

In celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8th) and Women’s History Month, we’re partnering with the new woman-owned spice company JAHAN - https://eatjahan.com/ Meet founder Madena Mohamadi as she describes her experience growing up the daughter of a strong immigrant mother, and her passion for sharing traditional Afghan cuisine, one delicious dish at a time with her easy-to-use spice blends. This special wine event will support Madena’s mission, to help fund programs delivered by the global nonprofit Women for Women International - https://www.womenforwomen.org/ Our special guest, Nathan Derri, District Manager of Dreyfus Ashby & Co. will join us to walk us through on how to understand and appreciate wines from the wonderful region of Burgundy. Nathan and UWC wine director, Fotios Stamos will explore Laforet Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and discuss how they eloquently pair with the dishes that are prepared with the delicious spice blends of JAHAN.
