Matthew 6: 19-21 Jesus isn’t saying to despise your treasures, but to be a wise investor with the heavenly portfolio in mind. We need to recognize our time on Earth is minimal. God never meant for material things to be your source of joy, meaning, or identity. Jesus is aware of the status of your heavenly account. It’s important to keep an eternal perspective. What’s done for the Kingdom of God is what truly lasts.
