Vision & Values – Simon Elliott
from Everyday Church Sermons Hosted by Everyday Church
In this message, Simon Elliott explores the vision and values that shape Everyday Church, rooted in the bigger story of the Bible: from creation and humanity made in God’s image, through redemption in Jesus, to the restoration of all things. Discover seven words that express our vision and values: Son, Father, Spirit, Grace, Community, Kingdom and Love. Together they remind us that we are not simply saved for ourselves, but are created to be Image Bearers and Kingdom Bringers. As we follow Jesus, we are called to live in community, grow in holiness, demonstrate God’s love, seek His Kingdom and bring His transforming presence into every area of life. The early church gives us a powerful picture of what this can look like as believers devote themselves to Scripture, fellowship, prayer, generosity, worship and mission. Listen to the full message and discover how God’s vision can shape the way we live, serve and follow Jesus together.
