Vision Series: Sacrificial Mission September 20, 2026 • RD McClenagan • John 20:21 This Sunday, RD McClenagan continues the vision series God Has More by focusing on sacrificial mission—the call to live not for ourselves, but for the sake of others. Throughout Scripture, God blesses and transforms His people in order to send them out, as seen in Abraham’s call to leave what was familiar and become a blessing to all nations. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live as ambassadors of His kingdom, bringing salt and light into the places God has already placed us through generosity, hospitality, evangelism, justice, mercy, work, and service. Rather than withdrawing from the world or simply blending into it, we are are invited to seek the flourishing of our communities and live with gospel intentionality in our neighborhoods, workplaces, churches, and relationships. Ultimately, sacrificial mission is sustained by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for us, so that through the power of God we can pour out our lives and bring His life and renewal into the broken and barren places around us.
