Remember on our roots (v. 1)What do roots represent in our church? The grace of God unfolding in the story of our church.2. Prune and Strengthen the branches (v.2-3)What needs lifting up in your life?In every one of these branches, you have remove inhibitors that are stopping (or slowing) your growth + utilizing catalysts to induce (or increase) it:A. Re-prioritize your Discipleship: Commit to growing in ChristGrowth inhibitor: ImmaturityCatalyst: Develop a personal growth planB. Re-building your Relationships: Commit to pouring you life into othersGrowth inhibitor: FearCatalyst: Be part of a familyC. Re-energize your Ministry: Commit to serving the people here with your giftsGrowth inhibitor: ApathyCatalyst: Find a meaningful ministry3. Bear fruit in abundance (v. 4-8)What does Jesus mean by fruit? (1) Inward transformation + (2) Outward multiplication.Conclusion: What is our destiny? A diverse, robust, healthy orchard that is both beautiful in and helpful for our city.
