Vision Sunday 2026

from Bay Area Community Church Hosted by Greg St. Cyr

La Clairvoyance. It’s a French phrase that literally means "clear sight"—the rare ability to see past present reality to ultimate destiny. Nearly 40 years ago, God sparked a vision in the hearts of a few people to launch Bay Area Community Church, and for four decades, He has been growing a movement of Good News people across our region and the world. But what if God is asking us to look again with fresh eyes? What if the places where we live, work, play, and learn—across Anne Arundel and Queen Anne’s counties—aren't just comfortable neighborhoods, but an urgent, thriving harvest field waiting for the hope of Jesus? This Sunday is Vision Sunday 2026, and I want to personally invite you to be in the room as we lean into a single, life-changing question: What if we could see what God sees? You’re going to hear powerful, encouraging stories from our church’s history about normal, everyday people in our congregation—ordinary men and women who simply made themselves available, stepped out in faith, and saw God do extraordinary things through their lives. God isn't looking for extraordinary people; He is looking for available hearts ready to pray, care, and share right where He has planted us. Join us this Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. as we move from identity to action together. I can’t wait to see you there!
