Vision with Mark Batterson
from Guys Like Us Hosted by Tyler Brondyk
Mark Batterson, New York Times Bestselling Author and Lead Pastor of National Community Church in Washington D.C. joins the Guys Like Us to share his story. Originally from Chicago, Mark had the way paved as a scholarship basketball player at the University of Chicago before he responded to his calling and transferred to Central Bible College. Mark shares his most recent book titled, Whisper, on hearing and discerning the voice of God. What does success look like? For Mark, it's being famous in his home. "The greatest message deserves the greatest marketing." One core conviction of National Community Church is that the church ought to be the most creative place on the planet. We discuss all this and much more. Looking forward for you to join us in this conversation. *The second part of the recording has some crackling but the conversation was too great to remove.*
