With TJPW's Summer Sun Princess a mere few days away, we got to ask the current International Princess Champion Suzume, a few questions before the big event. Where she will defend her title against Wakana Uehara.   Q: In the 2024 Max Heart tournament, you and Arisu Endo (Daisy Monkey) defeated Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi (Day Dream) to win the tournament, Day Dream are the current Princess tag team champions, If they retain the titles at Summer Sun Princess, are there any plans for you and Arisu to challenge for those titles? A: I’m always looking for a chance! Daisy Monkey have both gotten stronger than we were back then, so I’d love to have all kinds of matches again with who we are now. But first, I can’t wait for Daydream vs Kyoraku Kyomei title match.   Q: On January 4th this past year, you challenged Miu Watanabe for the Princess of Princess championship in a sold out Korakuen hall, What did it mean to you to be in the main of such a well received show and match against Miu? A. It was a day where I put everything out there. I lost, but I felt it was my highest point ever. There was more reaction from around the world than ever before, and it made me think Miu-san really is an amazing Princess after all. And it’s the match that connected to my awareness of the International Princess belt, the feeling that “maybe I can bring TJPW to the world too.”   Q: On July 18th you defend your International Princess championship against Wakana Uehara, How important is it to once again retain your title? A: Every time I defend, I feel more and more strongly the feelings of my opponents and the fans cheering for me, and this belt keeps becoming heavier and more important to me. I believe I need this belt in order to move forward, and because of this belt I can see the direction I should be heading. I’ve only just started running! I can’t afford to stop.   Q: With the Tokyo Princess cup right around the corner. Who is someone you're looking forward to face in the tournament? A: Arisu Endo! We promise every year to meet in the finals, but we’ve never actually faced each other in a tournament, so this year I really want to win my way through and fight Arisu.   Q: There is so much great young talent currently in TJPW is there one or two wrestlers that you have been really impressed with? A: Everyone is growing at an amazing speed, and everyone has so many amazing qualities in their own way. Uta in particular surprises me and I respect a lot about her.
