Should your veterinary practice use text message marketing? There are many reasons why I think text message marketing is incredibly important and only gaining steam, but here are a few: First, text messaging for your veterinary practice is a marketing is an owned medium, so you can control how often the texts go out, what the message is and when people get it. Second, text messaging is highly effective when it comes to open rates. You can't beat it. Period. If you need to fill appointments or schedules getting text messages out really helps to get response. Third, it isn't going anywhere. Text messaging is only gaining traction and as a medium it is probably one of the most effective ways you can market. On top of that, you already have a contact list in your PMS.
