Seguiu os mesmos passos do pai, jornalista e referência no futebol amador da cidade: cursou Jornalismo pela PUC-PR e atuou como radialista por mais de uma década. Dos eleitos para a 18ª Legislatura da CMC, Leonidas é o mais jovem e destaca como suas principais bandeiras o esporte, a saúde mental e a educação. Entre seus projetos de lei no atual mandato, o parlamentar fala sobre a nova regra de limpeza dos terrenos, que autoriza a Prefeitura a limpar terrenos baldios e depois cobrar os valores dos proprietários dos lotes. Outra proposta que o vereador ressalta é o Programa de Valorização da Vida, com ações para a comunidade escolar prevenir casos de depressão infantil.
