Vodka, Soda & Lime | Roy Rosenfeld

We’re honored having another outstanding artist behind the Schirmchendrink bar counter today: Roy Rosenfeld is mixing his Vodka Soda with a lot of punch: it comes with fresh Lime, sparkling melodies and that mellow but always driving “Roy Rosenfeld groove”: Roy is currently residing in Tel-Aviv, the capital of Israeli electronic music, but born and raised in the magical streets of Jerusalem. A key milestone in his career was a beautiful track name Epika, a co-production together with Guy Mantzur – and it turned out to be one of 2015 biggest anthems. The success of his signature sound brought him not only on the Schirmchendrink radars, no, but on the release schedule of the crème de la crème of records labels: Guy J’s Lost & Found, Marc Romboy’s Systematic Records, Michael Mayer’s KOPAKT as well as the mighty All Day I Dream – just to name a few. In 2019 his career got another epic boost: Apart from returning to All Day I Dream with his Rumbala EP, Roy released what is considered to be one of the greatest anthems of last year, ‘The Biggest Heart’, published on TRYBESof. In addition Roy has released another EP, this time on Sébastien Léger’s new label “Lost Miracle” that includes the A-side ‘Hypnosa De La Rosa’. The B-side ‘Creme’, is his first ever collaboration track with the French maestro. 2020 seems to continue in the same pace: his upcoming release on Guy Gerber’s Rumors label is opening up with a track that has enormous anthem potential: a hypnotic house track called „no drama“ - but with a lot of drama actually: loose grooves, an exotic and tropical feel, underlined by Roy’s signature bubbly drums.
