Most of us have learned to speak from a very young age. Verbal communication happens to be one of the foundations of human interaction. Despite its importance to the relationships we have with others, it is often ineffective communication that results in misunderstanding, marginalization, and conflict. We have learned to speak, but we rarely learn how to communicate so that our message and intention are heard and understood. Our voices are needed. Let’s learn how to use them effectively.
