晏殊（991－1055），字同叔，抚州临川（今江西进贤）人，北宋著名文学家、政治家，十四岁以“神童”荐试，赐同进士出身，历仕真宗、仁宗两朝，官至同平章事兼枢密使（宰相），封临淄公，谥“元献”，世称晏元献。他一生清俭廉白，为官不营私，尤以举贤任能著称，范仲淹、韩琦、富弼、欧阳修等皆出其门下或由其荐拔，时称“得人之盛，本朝无出其右”。
