Voltron 101

This is a primer class for new Voltron fans, friends or loved ones of Voltron fans, or fans of the original 1984 series who want to know more about the other shows. This is a high-level view of everything Voltron, as it relates to the animated shows. Let's Voltron Podcast Co-Host Greg Tyler has designed this introductory class of Voltron 101 to bring you up to speed, Voltron-style. You'll hear everything about Voltron: Defender of the Universe (1984-86), including Lion Force Voltron, Vehicle Team Voltron, and Fleet of Doom.

You'll also hear about The New Adventures of Voltron (a rebrand of the original) and Voltron: The Third Dimension (1998-2000), which used cutting-edge CGI to animate your favorite characters.

We also cover Voltron Force (2011-2012), a sequel to the original Voltron series, which combined 2D animation with CGI to bring new life to the original Lion Force Voltron team, and 3 brave new cadets.

Of course, no Voltron 101 would be complete without reviewing the current series available on Netflix, Voltron Legendary Defender.
