Voltron at SDCC 2017: Panel, Interviews, & Prize Pack Winners

In this podcast, Marc & Greg, Shambavi, Shamus, and Dani review interviews with Joaquim Dos Santos, Lauren Montgomery, Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Tyler Labine, who all participated in a panel where the audience was pleased to see Episode 1 of Season 3 of Voltron Legendary Defender at San Diego Comic-Con 2017! 2 Lucky Winners of Voltron SDCC Prize Packs are announced as well!

We couldn't wait to talk about everything Voltron that happened at San Diego Comic-Con, and since Greg was not able to attend, he is experiencing the whole story, interviews, panel and all, just like the listeners of this podcast.

On July 28th, to celebrate Lance's birthday, Jeremy Shada was interviewed on Facebook LIVE for a Q&A, where he answered fan questions, had some donut cake, saw some fan art that fans had made for Lance, and received a set of the Voltron Legendary Defender Metal Defender Series Lions from Playmates Toys. Finally, we want to honor a very special person who just announced she's retiring: Voltron Legendary Defender Voice Director Andrea Romano. Her retirement was announced in a story that was released by IGN.

Marc and Greg had the amazing fortune to watch Andrea Romano working her magic at a recording session last April, just before WonderCon 2017. To see the legendary Andrea Romano directing world class voice actors like Jeremy Shada and Kimberly Brooks at a sound studio in Burbank, CA was a dream come true, and has now become a major highlight in our lives. Marc has also had the pleasure of interviewing Andrea Romano several times at red carpet events and conventions over the last 7 years.
