The Electric City Culturecast is back for its second season! In this episode we take you to the artist talks from EC3’s Downtown Artists in Residence Project: On Hospitality.  Six local artists were selected to take part in the residency and were invited to contemplate the theme of hospitality. A cross-cultural value, hospitality can be expressed, understood, and interpreted in diverse ways. The Indigenous, settler, and newcomer artists taking part shared their unique perspectives on the subject as well as their diverse artistic practices. An exhibition, performance works, and public engagement activities, created in response to these collective investigations were delivered throughout Artsweek 2018. Featuring Brad Brackenridge, Kelly O’Neill, Nick Ferrio, Rodney Fuentes, Mayelin Lovet, and Alice Williams. The Electric City Culturecast is your window into arts, culture and heritage in Peterborough. Meet local artists, get to know the people working behind the scenes in some of the premiere arts and heritage organizations in the province, and get involved in the cultural issues of the day. It’s an arty party with your hosts, the Electric City Culture Council’s Executive Director Su Ditta and Program Coordinator Eva Fisher. News, reviews, advice information, art! Every other Wednesday @ 7:00 pm on Trent Radio, 92.7 FM or also available as a podcast.
