Volunteering with Foster Families and Children with Rebecca Herbert (4Kids Volunteer Department Supervisor and Community Engagement Officer) | GAL 6

My guest today, Rebecca Herbert with 4Kids, passionately explains in this episode the major ways volunteers make an impact when they come alongside foster families. In Florida, children typically move homes/placements an average of 5.26 times within 1,000 days. With 4kids' assistance, this number drops down to only 1.45 times because of the great support from volunteers and staff members. The reduction in the amount of times a child moves provides the child with greater stability and the opportunity to heal, develop, and grow. We can't wait for you to listen to this information packed episode!
