Wer kennt es nicht: Im Betrieb wird ein Monitoring-System eingeführt, und kurz darauf befassen die Kollegen sich damit, wie sie im lokalen Mail-Client Filterregeln anlegen können, die die Alarm-Flut wegsortieren. Ein Rufbereitschafts-Handy macht die Runde, wird aber regelmäßig ausgeschaltet, weil es ständig bimmelt und jeder ist froh, wenn er das Ding wieder abgeben kann. Gleichzeitig werden die echten Ausfälle entweder gar nicht erkannt oder gehen in der Flut der unwichtigen Alarme unter. Das muss nicht so sein! Ich stelle im Vortrag ein praxisbewährtes Konzept vor, nach welchem man ein umfassendes Monitoring-System von Grund auf strukturiert aufbauen kann. Das Resultat ist ein Monitoring-System, welches gut pflegbar ist, die richtigen Situationen frühzeitig erkennt und die Rufbereitschaft in Ruhe lässt, außer wenn wirklich „was ist“.
