Über den Gast Jan Henrik Leisse ist CEO und Co-Gründer von eleQtron GmbH, einem 2021 gegründeten Spin-off der Universität Siegen. Er studierte Bauingenieurwesen, absolvierte seinen MBA an der WHU und arbeitete sechs Jahre als Restrukturierer und Sanierer – der, wie er es selbst nennt, „Notarzt vor der Insolvenz". Danach folgten Stationen bei Viessmann im Corporate Development sowie als CEO des Familienunternehmens Albrecht Bäumer GmbH, einem Spezialisten für Schaumstoffschneidemaschinen. Als Co-Gründer von eleQtron bringt er das betriebswirtschaftliche Rückgrat in ein Deep-Tech-Umfeld, das von Wissenschaftlern geprägt ist. eleQtron wurde 2025 vom Weltwirtschaftsforum als Technology Pioneer ausgezeichnet und schloss im Mai 2026 eine Series-A-Finanzierungsrunde über 57 Millionen Euro ab – mit Investoren wie Schwarz, Early Bird, EIC und der NRW-Bank.
