Vop Osili announced today that he is running for Mayor of Indianapolis. Governor Mike Braun gave his second State of the State address on Wednesday night. Indiana U.S. Senator Todd Young was one of two Republicans who tipped the scales to block a war powers resolution that would have required President Trump to secure authorization from Congress before launching any further military operations in Venezuela. This week the Marion County jail reached capacity. A Democratic State Senator is jumping in the race for Indiana's Fifth Congressional District to challenge Republican incumbent Victoria Spartz. Under current Indiana law, bail may only be withheld if a person faces charges of murder or treason.
