Vote to Stay Campaign Gains Ground | Calgary News

Monte Solberg, a former Conservative MP, is rallying Albertans to stay united with Canada through his “Vote to Stay” campaign, targeting the undecided and “soft separatists” who might vote for separation as a protest. He argues that sending this message fuels division rather than solving problems, especially as federal policies shift and global challenges like trade wars demand unity. Drawing from his own political history and acknowledging Alberta’s justified frustrations, Solberg emphasizes Canada’s shared values and community ties as reasons to choose unity over separation — and he’s counting on prominent Albertans to help turn the tide before it’s too late.
