Voters cast early ballots in Wilson County-area elections

Wilson County-area voters have been heading to the polls during early voting ahead of the May 2 election for city councils and school boards. Early voting began April 20. There was a pause in voting April 21, to acknowledge San Jacinto Day, which is a state holiday (see related story, page 12A) and continued through April 28.
