Voter’s Guide | Choose Wisely, Part 2 By Bill Corley Original Air Date: 2020.11.01 Voter’s Guide Voting is a privilege that has been given to American citizens to maintain democracy and a civil government. We have been gifted with rights and opportunities most countries don’t offer, so to be allowed to have a voice that preserves those rights is an honor that should be taken very seriously. However, in our nation today, it has become confusing and divisive. Trying to wade through the rhetoric and make a wise choice is harder than ever - even more so for Christians. Christians live by a standard that calls us to vote using the Bible but knowing how to do that may be a challenge. As a church, it is our heart to encourage people to vote on the issues according to God’s word, so we have put together a Voter’s Guide to help walk you through this. Also included are numerous links and resources to help inform and educate while making every effort to be non-biased and simply present information. These messages and others are available to be viewed live on Saturday night at 5:30 pm through Facebook or YouTube. You can watch the service on our church app or website at www.crossroads-ridgecrest.org, or pick up a DVD in the Resource Box in front of the office, or stop by the office Wed – Fri 10 am – 4 pm. Promiseland Homefront magazines and craft projects are also available in the Resource Box. Weekend lessons are available online through Facebook and the website to keep our kids connected.
