Voting from Behind the Wall

from In It Together Hosted by GBH

The presidential election is less than three weeks away and efforts are underway to encourage participation regardless of party lines. Some of those efforts are focused on helping those incarcerated cast ballots. In normal times, voting from behind the wall is already challenging - but like so many things, the pandemic has only complicated it. Host Arun Rath speaks with Kristina Mensik, the Assistant Director of the non-partisan group Common Cause Massachusetts and Massachusetts State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa about how the coronavirus is further challenging those who are incarcerated from casting their vote.
