El año 2016 fue una año de eventos y acontecimientos que impactaron el podcasting en castellano y el mundial. En Vía Podcast invitamos a Joss Green de El Metapodast y la Red Punto Primario para continuar un diálogo que iniciamos en su Podcast. En El MetaPodcast comentamos los acontecimientos del podcasting entre enero y junio de 2016. Aquí comentamos sobre el resto del año 2016. Julio Podcast Movement, el evento más grande de podcasters de EUU se realizó en Chicago con una asistencia de más de 800 personas. Nace "El metapodcast". Joss Green define una nueva estrategia y comienza El Metapodcast. Aquí el primer episodio titulado ¿Qué es un Metodcast? Agosto Fancon El festival de ocio alternativo se realizó por primera vez presentando podcasts como parte de su programa. Tuvieron la participación de varios líderes del podcasting como: Podcast Pro y Marketing Online (Boluda) y muchos más. Los podcasters transmitieron en vivo sus podcasts. Septiembre Se lanza Vía Podcast, el primer podcast producido en castellano en EEUU sobre cómo usar usar la nueva radio en la estrategia digital. Aquí la primera promoción. Se celebra el International Podcast Day con una representación de podcasters hispanos. Descargue las sesiones presentadas. Octubre Se realizan las Jpod 16 en Málaga, España. XI Jornadas de Podcasting Ponencias Noviembre Incluyen en los Premios Bitácoras un reconocimiento al podcaster del año. Radio Ambulante se une a NPR. La noticia fue interpretada como un reconocimiento al crecimiento e importancia del podcasting hispano. Diciembre Las asociaciones en EEUU se convierten en el nuevo grupo usando el podcasting.
