28. mája uplynie 70 rokov od slávnostného otvorenia Divadla Pavla Országha Hviezdoslava, dnešný diel podcastu tak bude celý venovaný divadlu, konkrétne budove, v ktorej sa nachádza. V roku 1955 v nej začala svoju činnosť činoherná scéna Slovenského národného divadla a prvým predstavením, ktoré mohli diváci vidieť na úplne novom javisku, bola dráma Pavla Országha Hviezdoslava Herodes a Herodias. Činoherná scéna Slovenského národného divadla v budove pôsobila až roku 2007 kedy sa presťahovala do nových priestorov. Budova naďalej slúžila na kultúrne účely až do septembra 2022, kedy budovu získala novozaložená nezisková organizácia DPOH n.o. a 11. januára 2023 bolo Divadlo Pavla Országha Hviezdoslava znovu slávnostne otvorené ako prvá mestská divadelná, činoherná scéna Bratislavy pod vedením riaditeľky Valerie Schulczovej a umeleckého šéfa Gejzu Dezorza.Michael Szatmary sa o DPOH rozpráva s oceňovanou herečkou a pedagogičkou Božidarou Turzonovovou a historikom architektúry a výtvarného umenia a vedeckým pracovníkom Oddelenia architektúry Historického ústavu Slovenskej akadémie vied v Bratislave Petrom Szalayom.
