Waiting for Your Breakthrough
from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott
Waiting for a breakthrough can feel like wandering through a desert with no end in sight. You pray, you believe, and yet, nothing seems to change. In these moments, it's easy to grow weary and question if God has forgotten you. But remember this: delay is not denial. In the Bible, Joseph spent years in prison for a crime he didn't commit before stepping into his destiny. David was anointed as king but had to wait years before he wore the crown. Even Jesus waited 30 years before His ministry began. God's timing is always perfect, even when it doesn't align with our expectations. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles." Your waiting season is not wasted—God is strengthening your faith, preparing your heart, and aligning circumstances for your breakthrough. Hold on. Keep praying. Keep trusting. The God who promised is faithful, and in His perfect time, your breakthrough will come. Until then, rest in the assurance that He is working behind the scenes for your good. Your waiting is not in vain.
