Waiting with an Expectant HeartLuke 15:20 (NIV)"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." ❤️🕊️Explanation:The father in the story of the prodigal son wasn’t passive. His heart longed for his son’s return, and he kept watching the road. When his son came back, the father ran — an act of love and eager acceptance. This is a picture of God’s heart: patient, hopeful, always ready to forgive and embrace the returning sinner. 🙏✨ Application:Do you have loved ones or friends who are spiritually lost? Waiting can be painful, but it can also be filled with hope.
