Wake Up Dead Man
from talkabout: A Film Podcast
Send us Fan Mail This week we suspect foul play, as Benoit Blanc returns for a third 'Knives Out' mystery in 'Wake Up Dead Man'. Another all star cast assembled, Rian Johnson back in the directors chair, and a murder plot so twisted you'll be able to play along at home. We discuss everyone's motives, character details and interactions, as well as having a chat about Blanc's luscious locks and deciding how far we think we could throw Glenn Close...we couldn't trust her as far as we could throw her. We also conduct a draft pick of the cast's best movies and find out which cast member used to be a makeup artist. Ultimately, we are left with a decision: is this a DVD shelf worthy film, or simply a facade of mediocrity. Enjoy! Could we throw Benoit Blanc into some other universes perhaps? Hey, it looks like Netflix are on their way to owning everything so why not have him solve a murder in Hawkins; or head to Arrakis to see who killed a Harkonnen lord...the possibilities are endless.
