Jody Hudson- an author, speaker, philanthropist, mother, and founder of the Alex Hudson Lyme Foundation.  Jody is a fundraising professional with over 18 years of non-profit leadership experience. Hudson has served in various roles: Operations and Marketing Director at Catholic Charities, Vice President of Development and Communications for Girl Scouts of Central California South, Philanthropy Officer with California CASA, and Major Gift Officer with Dignity Health-CommonSpirit. But it is her role as CEO/Founder of the Alex Hudson Lyme Foundation that fuels her purpose.Jody was born to a single mother who could not care for her and placed her in foster care. She was eventually adopted and placed with a family whose parents were both alcoholics. Fast forward to 2011, where after 20 years of marriage Jody found herself divorced and bankrupted.
