Wake Up! (Trey Freeman)

Pastor Trey Freeman's message titled "Wake Up!" drawn from Romans 13:11 urges us to awaken from spiritual slumber as our salvation draws nearer. In this sermon, we'll explore the difference between spiritual wakefulness and complacency, referencing key scriptures like 1 Corinthians 15:34 and Ephesians 5:14. Discover how to awaken to God's plan through teachings on being born again in the Spirit (John 3:3,6) and staying vigilant in prayer (Matthew 26:40-41). Understand the urgency of being awake in Christ to combat rising darkness in our society, as highlighted in Ephesians 5:14. Explore the importance of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and its relevance to making disciples and teaching obedience. Also, please join us at Newark Faith Church as we respond to this call to awaken spiritually as we prepare for our first TURNING POINT service in downtown Newark. It's time to heed this awakening.
