RaeAnn Tucker joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to discuss STI Awareness Month and Week, the community outreach event in Toulon, family planning services, Lab Special, and insurance navigators. The Henry and Stark County Health Departments, in partnership with First Choice Healthcare Clinics, are bringing their “12 Communities, 12 Months” series to Toulon on April 29th. From 7:30 to 9:30 at West Main Coffee & Books, residents can safely dispose of old medications, receive a free blood pressure check, and access health information. Insurance navigators will also be on hand to answer coverage questions. The event aligns with STI Awareness Month, emphasizing the importance of regular testing for young people.
