This is a recorded Waldron Student-Alumni Connections Program event where Junta Nakai talked with students about his career where he transitioned from finance to startups. Junta graduated from Northwestern in 2004 with a double major in economics and international studies. After 14 years in the finance industry, he decided to take the leap to startups. He now leads Financial Services at Databricks where he works with customers who are defining the future of finance. He is also a part-owner of Brooklyn Kura, the first Sake Brewery in New York.
