Walk Across The Room

When the light of God shines in our hearts, the darkness and shadows that had clouded our understanding are suddenly burnt away, like morning fog disappearing from a lake with the rising of the sun. As the sunrise of God’s goodness shines into our hearts, the night passes, the gloom dissipates, and a new era of life emerges. This light is the goodness of God revealed in the face of Jesus. The Bible teaches that it is in Jesus Christ that we see God. It is in Jesus that we begin to get glimpses of what God is like, and to experience how loving and good God is towards us.
