Selby brought a strong encouragement as he shared on the ministry of the Spirit, reminding us of the contrast between the flesh and the Spirit (Galatians 5:13). He warned that while the works of the flesh are evident, those who live habitually according to the flesh will not inherit the Kingdom of God. True freedom is not found in legalism or in using grace as a license, but in liberty, a life led by the Spirit, where the Word is written on our hearts and Christ is formed within us.He went on to remind us that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Drawing from Galatians 2:20 and Ephesians 4:20–24, we were encouraged to daily put off the old man and put on the new, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us. As we deny ourselves, starve the flesh, and take up our cross, the life of Christ is revealed in us. The call was simple yet challenging: to walk by faith, repent where needed, and allow the Spirit to lead us into true freedom.
