Walk of Hope

What changes will I see today? I’m hopeful as I head out for my morning walk around my neighborhood. It’s been amazing to watch three new structures form on open land. A new city park was built to honor a fallen firefighter, including firefighter-themed playground equipment. Near the park, a new elementary school is being built on donated farmland. Toward the end of my walk, stand the walls of a new church rising from a former corn field. As I flip those calendar pages each month, I thank God for my feelings of contentment in my small corner of the world! Thinking of the next generations enjoying learning, laughter, playtime, and worship, gives me hope and great expectations for the future!
